The Operations Manager is responsible for the quality of the overall IT service delivery. The position is seen as an IT leader and will be a people management role therefore strong interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Provides leadership, strategy and overall direction of EE Operations related functions across region
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships by engaging business leaders to understand business goals, market insights, challenges, priorities
  • Influences Enterprise Global Operations Peers to develop strategies ensuring regional needs are represented & aligned with the business
  • Plan and drive program enhancements through defining, optimizing and managing effective business processes
  • Responsible for all aspects of people leadership. Defines hiring strategy & develops resources into a strong team with leading consultative approach when working with internal customers. Acts as local leader for EO teams in matrix style management
  • Develop strong partnerships with third party vendors in developing and maintaining service level agreements, ongoing management of service level compliance, and assist in driving the support knowledge base
  • Drive adoption, prepare the team for new products/service releases and stay on the forefront of emerging industry practices
  • Manage budget effectively balance business needs with financial investment
  • Partners with EE Communications to represent region at global level and in turn to effectively promote transparent communications back to region
  • Ensure compliance with EE security and general controls are applied. Brings awareness of any local additional restrictions or complexities to same
  • 8+ years of experience managing regional IT at a multi-national company
  • 5+ years experience leading a regional IT support organization and experience providing remote support with customer service and interaction experience
  • Leadership and strategy management experience across technical spectrum and multiple geographical locations
  • Business acumen experience and working knowledge of Sales, HR, Financial, core IT systems and processes
  • Experience in growing/scaling an IT organization
  • Experience adapting and managing shifting organizational structures and matrix reporting with focus on driving support services
  • Problem-solving experience on technologically issues
  • Demonstrated experience with the following technologies, not limited to: client platforms, e-mail architecture, networking, infrastructure, security, applications, business intelligence, AV/VC
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CIS, Engineering or related technical
