As our Operations Manager for the Nike App, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing key product launch moments. You’ll partner with upstream teammates to prepare for and successfully deploy major Nike App functionality updates. You’ll also be responsible for aggregating, documenting, and engaging support funcitons to resolve any / all App bugs and defects.

The role will see you working closing with a host of internal partner functions including the App Business, Digital Brand, Merchandising, Product Management, Product Support, Consumer Services, and Launch Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of features and experiences. You’ll have an opportunity to serve forward-looking initiatives while preparing your teammates for major App updates and changes. You’ll also have opportunity to affect change in the team’s detailed day-to-day operations by serving as a process expert seeking continuous improvement and prioritizing in-App bug fixes. Finally, you’ll ensure the broader team remains on track to hit key milestones and objectives.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Managing several product launch moments per month. Partner with key support and planning functions to prepare for and successfully execute.
  • Handling the documentation and intake of all in-App bugs and defects. Partnering with Product Support and Product Management to ensure product issues are known, prioritized, and resolved.
  • Managing the rollout of major App feature deliveries and upgrades. Aligning internal stakeholders to ensure process impacts are known proactively. Leading process change and feature testing.
  • Serving as a Nike App technical and process expert to North America and Global partners.
  • Develop, document, and disseminate workflows and process maps as changes occur.
  • Advocating for the consumer by considering all updates and changes through the consumers’ point-of-view.
  • Contributing to key functional initiatives by partnering with Operations peers and leaders.
  • Supporting the Nike App Operations Director by contributing to any number of process and product related moments, deliveries, and executions.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Technology, or Project Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Digital, Project Management, Product Management, or Operations discipline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce and app concepts.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and a tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Strong decision-making skills and an ability to escalate concerns as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
  • Periodically be available at odd hours to support specific initiatives and moments.
