DESCRIPTION

Sr. Support Engineers (SE) are strong technical resources who understand the nuances involved in end to end designing and development of lightweight operational tools. They actively develop new features and improve existing functionalities to deliver higher business impact. A successful Sr. SE will liaise with multiple technical and operational teams to gather new requirements, understand existing problems and come up with technical solutions.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Ownership of multiple operational tools or components
· Owns and drives functional improvement projects
· Collection and presentation of relevant application performance statistic
· Identify and propose solutions to operational pain points
· Release, deployment and maintenance of applications to the production environment
· Perform end to end application development
· Performs programming tasks associated with the designing, building, testing, reviewing, releasing, debugging, and support of software applications and tools in a particular domain area.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology
· 2 – 4 years of programming experience / Level 3 Support
· Fair expertise in Java with hands-on development experience.
· Knowledge in other scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Perl etc.
· Experience in Full-stack Web Development using technologies like HTML, CSS, JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, Tomcat, Hibernate, Web services, APIs, etc.
· Detailed knowledge of the Linux operating system commands and tools
· Basic understanding of Cloud technologies like AWS
· Detailed knowledge and hands-on MySQL / Oracle experience needed
· Demonstrate skill and passion for problem-solving and operational excellence.
· Strives to build efficient systems with the ability to balance quality and time.
