Role Summary:

This role reports functional to the APAC PS Commercial Finance Leader and operationally to North Asia Commercial Leader. The Commercial Finance Manager will partner with commercial team to drive growth in North Asia, underwrite deals with optimal structure, coordinate financing solution internally and with external banks, manage complex issues across functional area of expertise, contributing to the overall business strategy to meet overall business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Partner with Sales & Commercial team to drive effective & creative deal structuring, aligning to business priorities & objectives for growth
• Provide financial & technical expertise in the development of an overall deal strategy, which maximizes Commitment, orders, convertible order recognition
• Develop cash & financing solutions, both internal with WCS, IFS, treasury and external with external banks to maximize cash collection in deal structures
• Work across internal organizations (controllership, tax, risk) to instill core knowledge / competency on service products and contract processes
• Partner with Risk Finance & modelling team to drive successful MYA renegotiations
• Partner and support commercial leader in managing region commercial team operations
• Lead process improvements and drive simplification projects. Partner with FP&A, Commercial Leaders, Business Intelligence and Operational Finance as applicable.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college;
• Minimum 7 years of finance experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
• Sound business acumen and quantitative & analytical skills with good detail orientation; able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues
• Demonstrated success in a project leadership role, with the ability to influence others in a highly matrix environment;
• Execution focused, ability to set and meet aggressive goals and objectives;
• Knowledge of contract processes and proposals;
• Change agent, embraces process changes;
• Has the ability to travel frequently
• Finance background, (FMP/CAS) or equivalent preferred
