Job Title:        Contracts Administrator

Location:        San Jose, CA

Reports To:    Operations and Corporate Attorney

Position Summary:  Assists with operational support for Manufacturing Operations, including customer and vendor contract negotiation, formation and administration for CEI Modular division.  Assists with legal support for corporate support teams, including Human Resources, IT, Finance, Risk/Insurance, Safety, Purchasing, and Marketing.  Assists with intake of real estate requests.


Essential Job Functions: 

  • Proactive member of the contract review team that assists in timely distribution and collection of contract documents and project support documents for review by the Operations and Corporate Attorney and other members of the Legal Department.
  • Preparation, summation and compilation of contract documents and comments from the review team and preparation of proposed amendment, modifications or redlines to customer contracts.
  • Tracking and maintaining company contracts, including but not limited to customer and vendor agreements, real estate leases, Non-Disclosure agreements, and technology agreements
  • Updating and maintenance of legal dockets and logs.
  • Research of support function issues and assist with delivery of solutions to client.
  • Research, preparation and filing of preliminary lien notices.
  • Research, preparation, recording and tracking of collection remedies.
  • Research and preparation of company legal information for bids and prequalification responses.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Detail oriented, ability to prioritize responsibilities with minimal oversight and collaborative team player.
  • Dynamic personality with the ability to multi-task and handle different legal subject matters at a time.
  • Construction and/or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. JD preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Experience required.
