Job Description

We are looking for our new Customer Quality Specialist
In this crucial role, you will be based in our manufacturing site of Soignies (B)

Your main missions will be the following:
Lead complex customer claim resolution by leading problem solving projects within Operations ensuring elimination of the root cause of the failure making use of Six Sigma, 8D reports or similar problem solving techniques and methodologies
Coordinate and (partially) execute Physical and Analytical test method to ensure problem solving and final resolution is date driven.
Translate customer Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) into measurable responses to secure data driven decision making on fact based information. When applicable translate the (new) developed test methods into plant or supplier specifications
Engage the Key Cross Functions in driving a pro-active approach to deliver timely and best in class Quality Solutions
Customer visits for on-site problem solving or Gemba walk to fully understand customer CTQ’s and  use the dissatisfiers as a learning opportunity to continuously improve the product quality
Use all claims as learning opportunities to continuously improve the product quality strengthen the Quality Control plant with local Quality
Maintain appropriate documentation and reporting to enable and monitor success of improvements.
Prepare the communication package to be sent to the Customer for complex claims.
Train and/or coach the Customer Quality Agents on new applications and application to build understanding of changing customer usage.
Build claim handling tools for the Customer Care Center to improved First Time Quality of claim entry (flow chart, sample books, standard operation procedures)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have the following profile:
Degree in Engineering; Chemistry is preferred.
Analytical and open mindset ensuring unbiased problem solving and resolution.
Quality engineering skills including a thorough understanding of converting industry and basic Statistical Methods for Quality Assurance.
Strong knowledge of engineering and converting Processes (>5+ years)
Experience in Converting product quality industry and/or application is a +.
Experience in Lean / 6 Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt)
Highly team oriented, flexible attitude.
Customer service orientated (internal & external).
Fluent in English, French is a +
Willingness to travel to customers (5-20 visits a year)
