The role of the Business Marketing team is to articulate the Facebook for Business value proposition at scale. We are passionate about helping brands, businesses, Influencers and agencies understand the ways in which Facebook can help them achieve their core objectives, and we are constantly looking for new ways to inspire, educate and grow the industry.

We are looking for an experienced leader to be the Director of Business Marketing across our Middle East and Africa region. In this role you would be responsible for setting a marketing strategy for the region in conjunction with the central teams which incorporates all aspects of marketing communications including managing digital channels, sharing success stories, leading design projects, creating presentation content, developing events sponsorships, creating marketing collateral and more. You will be accountable for the regional marketing budget and ensure we deliver the most effective messaging while at the same time, ensuring complete coverage of this large and diverse region. You will be continuing to build a highly effective and diverse marketing team, and bring with you industry relationships that can help further the impact and value of Facebook marketing.

You need to be comfortable with small agile teams, ambiguity and origination. This is a key role for the Middle East and Africa leadership team, so tight collaboration with sales leadership and industry within the region is desirable.

We are looking for a leader with strong leadership and team building capabilities. A proven track record & someone who is well connected with the marketing and advertising industry in the middle east region and who can continue to build the relationships with advertisers and industry influencers across the region for the benefit of both Facebook and the customers and partners we work with.

This role reports into our Head of Global Business Marketing for EMEA and is located in our Dubai Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a team of 4+ marketers
  • Partner with the local consumer and coms leadership team on aligning marketing strategies with business plans
  • Orchestrate the global strategy across Facebook’s EMEA regions (Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Central Europe and globally)
  • Develop creative for performance marketing campaigns on short timelines
  • Work with the Small business marketing teams to land global economic impact programs including events like Facebook Community Boost, She means business
  • Proven ability to optimize marketing mix by analysing performance of campaigns and programs and align marketing budgets to the biggest impact activities.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company
  • Serve as a thought leader across the small business-focused teams at Facebook
  • Passion for performance marketing and creating exceptional business value through engaging and innovative marketing approaches.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 15+ years of experience in a B2B and B2C marketing leadership role
  • Strong people management capabilities and stakeholder management
  • Proven experience of successfully working in a matrix organization
  • Proven experience leading large, geographically distributed teams
  • Deep knowledge of the advertising and marketing industries in MEA
  • Expert in operational efficiency through automation of tools and processes
  • Strong executive presence and a track record of working well in cross functional teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven track record of “moving fast” and delivering on tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English
  • Additional languages a plus
  • Enjoys leading and doing
