When our customers are looking for IT consulting expertise, where else would they turn but to the company driving human progress through technology? Our Solutions Architecture team within Professional Services are experts in package customization and integration as well as total, end-to-end solutions in targeted industry segments. After thorough consultation with our customers and careful analysis, we develop new IT systems or replace existing systems that support customers’ strategic, operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This director level manager position will be part of Dell’s SDS End User Computing Deployment Services organization focused on the End User Computing portfolio of services.
  • Manage a group of technical professional services employees remotely
  • Interact heavily with Segment Sales, Segment Services Sales, Segment Management, internal Dell services organizations, and vendor partners.
  • Support pre-sales efforts with large opportunities via customer presentations and account strategy planning sessions leveraging your subject matter expertise.
  • This role is expected to prioritize the workload for his/her group in conjunction and cooperation from upper management and internal customer management.
  • Manage the technical team, actively prioritizing the workload among team members, assessing and coaching team members on the quality of their work.
  • Traveling up to 75% of the time domestically with potential for some International travel

Essential Requirements:

  • Advanced contextual skills and experience in constructing complex service provider solutions in the IT services provider market are necessary to manage team members performing this work.
  • Requires thorough understanding of services costing and P&L’s in order to assess and coach group team members on services solutions.
  • Technical implementation experience within large environments especially within core Dell technology Offerings.
  • Expert in one or more of the core technologies that is currently part of the EUC portfolio.
  • Expert knowledge of Dell offerings and toolsets used on projects.
  • Bachelors Degree, technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Additional certifications in operating systems or programming languages a plus
  • English Fluency

Desirable Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT consulting or professional services experience and 4+ years of previous management experience
  • Business development experience with fortune 100 companies
  • Excellent communication & relationship building skills
  • Program and project leadership skills
  • Expertise and experience with one of the following: Modern provisioning processes and technologies; Knowledge and understanding of PC deployment in large organizations; PC management products & solutions from VMWare and Microsoft; Application Management, specifically application compatibility, remediation, rationalization, and packaging.
