About this role

Roles and responsibilities –

  • Supervise and support design team in preparation of all required engineering design and documents, not limited to the followingo Design Criteria document;o Equipment Specification;o Load Schedule;o Electrical equipment layout, cable route layouts;o Equipment sizing calculations, including Transformers, motors, cables, DC supplies, UPS etc.. o Earthing and Lightning protection system design;o Cable schedules;o Bill of quantities.
  • Review and technical evaluation of vendor offers;
  • Review of manufacturers and sub-contractors design documents;
  • Attend Factory acceptance test and Site acceptance tests;
  • Preparation of progress reports;
  • Monitor sub-contractors progress;
  • Co-ordinate with inspection, testing and commissioning team.

About you

Requirement –

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from reputed university;
  • Minimum 10 years of design and construction supervision experience in process industries, preferably in Sea water reverse Osmosis desalination plant;
  • Experience in testing and commissioning will be added advantage;
  • Experience in GCC countries preferred Familiar with International and Oman Electricity standards.
