About this role

Operative effectiveness

  • Collect and prepare cost data, analyzing the information available with data bank and using established estimation techniques;
  • Develop and maintain database of historical cost data (cost and man- hour/day,..);
  • Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors;
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations received from vendors of subcontractors through procurement dept. or benchmark with in-house data when available;
  • Determine key variables for cost and other estimates;
  • Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc. − Efficient bench marking − Capture and analyze proposal and project capitalization data and suggest process improvements to minimize costs and maximize revenue for future proposals − Cost efficiency of work

About you

EXPECTED COMPETENCIES

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master’s degree;
  • Work Experience: At least 2 to 5 years in manufacturing domain.

KNOWLEDGE AND KNOW-HOW SPECIFIC TO THE JOB

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing (columns, pressure vessels, cold boxes , piping , structure and modules);
  • Knowledge of understand Process Data Sheet, BOQ, Piping PID, Isometrics, Structural Drawings, Pressure Vessel;
  • Knowledge in MS Excel;
  • Knowledge to study client specifications;
  • Knowledge to create a manhour and material parameters;
  • Knowledge of proposals and project execution processes;
  • Knowledge of industry standard cost estimates techniques;
  • Knowledge of benchmarks for various costs and dept , cost analysis.
