Our mission is to serve the consumer at their pace by building the end-to-end capabilities that will transform Nike.

As the Express Lane Innovation Manager, you’ll join a team that works across the Nike value chain to define and develop the capabilities required to support 2x Speed at scale for Nike. In this role, you will partner with Express Lane and Functional Partners across the value chain (Product, Merch, Sales, Finance, Planning, Manufacturing, Transportation, Marketplace Operations) to facilitate design, sequencing, and implementation of integrated responsiveness capabilities.

In this role you will:

  • Act as an integrator as you engage and coordinate with broad cross-functional groups on capabilities aligning strategies, defining objectives and outcomes, monitoring progress, troubleshooting problems, etc.
  • Partner with Express Lane Geography leaders across the Update and Fulfill businesses to understand the specific capability needs that are common across the globe
  • Partner with Category leadership to clarify and refine how the responsive business needs identified by the geographies connect to the Global Category strategies
  • Facilitate integrated solution design capability sessions helping synthesize outputs into clear, actionable artifacts
  • Project manage capability building efforts with broad cross-functional groups
  • Collaborate with functions to synchronize capability deployment prioritized to enable integration to dependent function capabilities and in support of the Express Lane Activation road map
  • Be a thought partner for engaged team members and stakeholders to form perspectives on approaches and possible solutions for driving forward speed in support of Activations and in support of delivering on 2X Speed for Nike
  • Perform role of Geo Captain for assigned Geography recapping status of the activation roadmap and driving actions on help needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 8 years’ work experience in an operational capacity
  • 2 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated experience engaging a variety of stakeholders, including executive leadership, senior leaders, functional leaders, and those performing the day-to-day tactical work
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and facilitation experience, ability to engage large cross-functional groups and pace them through solutioning work
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to translate strategic priorities into work tracks
  • Experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders at varying levels within the organization to define critical milestones, success criteria and tactical plans
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and not being a subject matter expert in every area while being able to quickly and clearly create synthesized outputs (simplifying the complex)
  • Demonstrated influencing skills
  • Ability to lead and direct work across multiple projects
  • Broad end-to-end knowledge of Nike’s value chain
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
