Job Overview

The Financial Analyst, Sales Canada in his/her capacity as a key member of the Finance team is primarily and actively  collaborating to the budget and forecast processes, financial reporting and financial support of the activities for the sales team analysis. He/she reports to the Sales Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

Strategic 20 %

  • Promote continuous improvements in order to improve organizational processes and generate superior business results
  • Coordinate the collection of information and preparation of periodic financial and management reports for volumes, gross revenue, and trade spend
  • Assist in various special improvement projects with BI
  • Ensure that the company complies with all statutory requirements, and with the policies, procedures and ethical standards set by Keurig
  • Participate in different presentations to management, answering questions
  • Challenge the assumptions that are subject to be consistent with market dynamics
  • Assist the Sales Finance Manager on other activities related to special assignments

Operational 75 %

  • Analyze the volume, the income and the trade spend and provide recommendations to optimize net sales.
  • Contribute in planning, organizing and coordinating the budget and forecast processing aspect of net sales.
  • Assist in preparing monthly analysis of net sales by differences in price and volume by product line and distribution channel.
  • Building financial summary for presentations purposes of the CBU management
  • Upgrade, automate and improve reporting and analytical tools

Leadership 5%

  • Responsible for completing yearly objectives and quarterly assessment.
  • Coordinate efforts for keeping position description up to date.
  • Responsible for completing yearly performance assessment.
  • Attend periodic Sales & Marketing team meetings.
  • Challenge business partners when needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in finance or accounting with CPA designation in progress
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance, for the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail sectors, or accounting firm
  • Strong business acumen
  • General knowledge of accounting
  • Knowledge of software Hyperion and SAP (an asset)
  • Bilingualism
