About the job

At Google, we put our users first. From innovative software products like Gmail, YouTube, Chrome, Street View to pioneering mobile devices like the Android, we build products that organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible to our users. The Product Management team works closely with our engineers to guide products from conception to launch. As part of the Product Management team, you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our customers love. You’ll work with Googlers from Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to name just a few. You have a bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at Google speed. As a Product Manager, you will be part of shaping Google’s next moonshot.

Google Shopping helps advertisers promote products, connecting our users with thousands of advertisers, large and small, in ways that are useful for both. Google helps merchants & brands reach mobile users at moments of shopping intent, drive in-store traffic and get a complete view of the customer’s path-to-purchase.

This is both a Product Lead role for the Brands team and also the Product Manager Lead role for the local team that closely works with a new Engineering lead for Shopping.

At Ads and Commerce, we believe that ads and commercial information can be highly useful to our users if, and only if, that information is relevant to what our users wish to find or do. Advertisers worldwide use Google Ads to promote their products; publishers use AdSense to serve relevant ads on their website; and business around the world use our products (like Google Shopping and Google Wallet) to support their online businesses and bring users into their offline stores. We build and maintain the platforms that have made Google what it is today, and are constantly innovating to deliver the most effective advertising and commerce opportunities of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive end-to-end roadmap for all Brands-facing products, including campaigns, manufacturer center, and more.
  • Drive key partnerships internally and externally.
  • Increase business growth opportunities.
  • Launch products in collaboration with other teams.
