Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in managing high performing teams.
  • Engagement management experience at a leading consulting firm or investment bank, or equivalent Strategy Management experience in a high-growth technology firm.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate with technical teams.
  • Demonstrated strong performance with increasing levels of responsibility and independence; demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic initiatives.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of GTM and partnering with the VP of Large Customer Sales (LCS) and Hub management, your focus will be on formulating the business strategy for LCS and identifying and managing our key strategic partnerships across Google.

In addition you will be leading a high performing team and serving as an inspirational leader of the GTM Strategy team; manage and coach team members helping them grow in their careers and thrive at Google.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate the business strategy for the Large Customer Sales team.
  • Identify and manage key strategic partnerships across Google.
  • Be a thought partner for Large Customer Sales leadership – equally comfortable co-writing an executive POV on strategic initiatives, facilitating and/or participating in formal or/and ad hoc whiteboard problem-solving session, or speaking at an offsite.
  • Have a strong presence at the executive level; leading presentations, clearly communicate findings and recommendations and facilitating decision making with executive teams.
