Optum Analytics is seeking a talented and motivated individual to deploy the Optum One solution to our clients in the healthcare provider market. The ideal candidate will have successful experience in Health IT systems implementations. This position requires a blend of client management, project management, process and product knowledge, as well as strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. The candidate should enjoy working with a team, interacting with clients and collaborating with internal staff in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Delivering an exceptional onboarding experience to customers that results in a rapid implementation effort and a satisfied and referenceable client
  • Tailoring the implementation process and product configurations to reflect an extensive knowledge of our customers’ business process and strategic needs
  • Preparing detailed and accurate status reports on an ongoing basis and escalating issues to the leadership team when appropriate
  • Tracking major client-specific product deliverables and reinforcing the scope of work outlined in the contract
  • Relentlessly collaborating across, and communicating with, a myriad of external and internal stakeholders while serving as the primary liaison between the client and the Optum Data Factory
  • Working closely with other Implementation Managers to facilitate cross-pollination of client-based learnings and to ensure consistency of the overall delivery model
  • Looking for ways to constantly improve overall Client Services performance including the development and continuous improvement of the methodology
  • Timely completion of administrative responsibilities including timesheets, expense reports, and required trainings


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to independently and successfully apply process improvement methods with measurable business performance improvement outcomes
  • Ability to learn analytics platform and understand impact of data availability on overall client deliverable
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50% travel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to anticipate and manage conflict, while leading the implementation through tenuous situations
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Strong decision-making capability. Can digest complex information to understand core issues and then develop proposed solutions that align with company and client interests
  • Ability to collaborate with the broader Client Services team to prioritize deliverables and understand risk and/or impact
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility at all levels of an organization
  • Innate sense of organization and basic project management skills
  • Energy, flexibility, and positive attitude in a fast changing environment
