HR Business Analyst

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for a smart, driven, problem solver to provide support for our evolving HR tools and processes. In this role, you will develop deep expertise on the HR Services and People Technology solutions used by Amazon and will work with business owners, technologists, and HR partners to understand and document strategy, requirements and timelines. You will participate in cross-functional teams through the process and policy design, delivery, implementation, and support of new HR tools and services as well as contribute to change management.

What you’ll do:
· Deliver Solutions – Implement global technologies and services to meet long term HR and Payroll business needs; partner with development teams on system design and gap analysis, and prioritization of critical initiatives
· Business Requirements – Facilitate global workshops to coordinate the collection of global business requirements including process deviations and localizations; prepare global process maps and documentation
· Implementation – Support the rollout of new tools and systems to global teams including delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, training materials and post-launch support resources
· Operational Excellence – Drive global HR process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility and appropriate localization
· Subject Matter Expertise – develop deep knowledge of core hire-to-retire processes used by Amazon, advise the business on regional and global requirements and best practices for optimizing the use of Amazon People Technology

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of HR or related experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field
· Experience implementing processes and providing support for core HR solutions
· 3+ years of work experience writing SQL, data modeling, data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehousing) and using databases in a business environment with complex datasets
· Advanced Excel skills; experience with business intelligence tool
· Fluent in English

· Able to learn large scale complex systems quickly
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills – able to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations
