HR Business Partner – Global Operations & Technology (Limerick):

Reporting to the HRBP Manager, Global Operations & Technology, Limerick

Job Role and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide a proactive HR service to a number of client groups to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs
  • Plan and implement Initiatives to support the Global Ops organisation and drive key areas including Organisational Development, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and Reward and Recognition
  • Support line management in forecasting and planning talent acquisition requirements in line with the business strategy
  • Advise line managers on tools, methodologies and procedures that will support business performance and improve people management capability
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in each group and coach, counsel & guide managers when dealing with employee relation issues, discipline and grievance
  • Serve as a primary HR contact to manage day to day HR policy advice and system support to employees
  • Drive people processes to ensure that employees’ capabilities meet current and future standards
  • Conduct exit interviews and make proposals to improve retention and attract new employees
  • Work closely with union and employee representative groups
  • Manage specific projects to support the HRBP team and participate in functional and cross-functional projects to ensure alignment with Global HR strategy

Essential Experience / Knowledge:

  • Ideal candidate will hold 3 or more years of related experience
  • Demonstrable broad knowledge and experience in HR, with a hands-on approach
  • Experience as a HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a unionized environment an advantage
  • A third level HR qualification
  • Experience of working closely with line managers to achieve shared company objective
  • Proven ability in designing and implementing HR initiatives that support strategic business aims
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, including the ability to organize, plan and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent administrative and IT skills
