Primary Responsibilities:​

  1. Installation skills would include the basic skills of a journeyman electrician, which would include such items as, 3 phase 480 volt installations to equipment and motors, 120 volt circuit installations, lighting installations and control panel wiring.
  2. Electrical troubleshooting experience with production equipment such as drills, groovers, grinders, furnaces, CNC turret machines and CNC lathes is desired.  In the troubleshooting of production equipment, the potential candidate should be able to demonstrate experience and skills with the troubleshooting and installation of relays and starter circuits, light screens, motors, VFDs, servo motors, servo drives, PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens),  Fanuc CNC controls, CNC ladder logic, encoders and linear scales.

Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must hold a Journeyman classification in the trade as an electrician OR have served a bona fide apprenticeship under standards acceptable to the UAW and has a certificate to substantiate such services OR have eight years of practical experience and can prove same with proper affidavits or work records.
