Role Summary:

HR support for client group Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, employee relations, driving employee engagement initiatives, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. Advice and leadership on employee and union or works council relations. Act as ERM of record for a client group. Positions requires understanding of business priorities, supporting the line mangers and building healthy employee relations in the unit.

Essential Responsibilities:

Advises management on legal/labour law/regulatory issues and risk management. Includes those who lead Labour Relations teams, and/or the operations for such teams. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Contributes to project as a team member or leads small projects. A first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes. Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field. Ability to communicate the broader picture to the team. Use of basic influencing skills to deliver on assigned goals. Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Master degree in human resource from an accredited university or college with at least 6-8 years of experience in Industrial Relations / Employee Relations.
Exposure to Plant HR and Union relations desirable. Sound knowledge on Labour Laws and experience in Contract Labour Management Practices will be preferred
