Role Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Finance Analyst role will provide critical finance and operational leadership, analysis, support & expertise for one CoE of Rivalta shop. The focus will be to ensure all critical production/financials KPIs are met and to provide strategic insights for investment decisions, footprint considerations, OCPH optimization, cost out initiatives, etc.
The role reports into the Rivalta Finance Manager and supports directly the CoE Leader and his/her team.

Essential Responsibilities:

The role will cover key aspects of production cost composition and all relevant metrics, both financial & operational (OCPH, Bullet Train, P&E, Cycle Productivity, Delivery, Delinquency, Inventory, etc) and includes direct involvement, engagement & responsibility over setting the appropriate routines, procedures and control points aimed to deliver to company commitments.
Some of the key tasks/activities, will include:

  • Establish clear routines/procedures/reviews with relevant owners, supporting Ops team and CoE leader in data visibility, tracking, analysis and reporting for OCPH/Cost Out results
  • Ensure proper level of analytics are established and maintained, also utilizing newer functionalities and data visibility coming from implementation of digital tool.
  • Provide critical look and assessment, in conjunction with Ops team/Cost out team, of the overall CoE cost-out performance.
  • Support daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly process for relevant CoE business reviews and key planning cycles (OP, SII, Session I, etc.) for actuals, estimates and reporting  Liaise, together with Avio Aero ops team, with PM & business leaders as necessary.
  • Play a strategic partnership role, with Product Strategy team and Product development team, for developing longer term initiatives/efforts, also linked to P&E investments and cost rationalization.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Economics or High School Diploma with a strong Finance background
  • Proven experience in supply chain finance topics/domain preferred
  • Strong industrial knowledge, coupled with key expertise in supply chain cost accounting & controllership processes preferred
  • Italian and English Fluency
  • EU work permit

  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • proven experience in the Aviation industry with progressive responsibility
  • High Proficiency in computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with familiarity on SAP
