Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience managing customers and streams of work.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and working cross-functionally with operations, product, and business teams.

  • Experience with technical certification processes and methodologies.
  • Experience defining and leading quality assurance testing plans and resources.
  • Experience with and/or passion for games and the gaming industry.

Google’s projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it’s your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines.

As the Manager in Store Certification/Store Programming, you’ll lead the certification operations function to deliver a high-quality store experience for our gaming customers on a global basis. You’ll work cross-functionally across a set of internal stakeholders including partner management, technical certification, programming, business operations, release management and other groups, managing the certification and approval process for all digital store and platform UI assets. Working collaboratively across functions, you will establish effective working relationships with peers in the organization while managing a growing pipeline of content.

In this role, you will focus on delivery and execution, demonstrating a desire to build and evolve operational capabilities in a fast-paced startup environment. Additionally, you will managing multiple simultaneous work streams, and a team to deliver certification at scale while managing shifting prioritization of deliverables.

  • Manager multiple interdependent projects and work streams of moderate complexity and scope.
