DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cycle counting-Daily, weekly, monthly quarterly

Annual physical inventor

Maintains a good corporate image by conducting business transactions upon a solid foundation of honesty, integrity, and fairness.

Responsible for acting on order releases action and exception messages from the system.

Responsible for the management of inventory levels, and availability of selected item, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.

Responsible for monitoring customer websites for tickets and bulletins.

Responsible for daily pulls of customer releases, both electronic and manual.

Responsible for new part set up in Mapics; work closely with product engineering in BOM maintenance.

Maintains good communications and working relationships with all departments to facilitate a smooth operation.

Work closely with manufacturing to ensure that planning activities facilitate uninterrupted workflow in production.

Develops a thorough knowledge of commodities assigned. ·

Maintains effective communication with all departments.

Maintains courteous, impartial, and objective dealing with customers.

Performs expediting on a regular basis; performs various administrative functions as required.

Perform tasks related to Production activities, including, but not limited to work order administration, inventory management, and expediting of required components.

Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED

Materials and/or logistics certification preferred

Bachelor degree an asset.

One to three years materials experience.

Experience in manufacturing environment.

Interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

MS Office proficiency, specifically Excel.

Experience in Mapics an asset.

Experience in SAP an asset.
