Mechanical Designer

 Jacobs Green Bay, consists of two offices in Northeast Wisconsin – Green Bay and Appleton. Together these offices serve local, national and global clients as well as other Jacobs offices around the world.

Jacobs Green Bay serves the Pulp & Paper, Consumer Products, Food & Beverage and Chemical industries. We deliver complete equipment and manufacturing solutions from idea generation through commissioning to end of curve production.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Prepares engineering drawings from rough stretches, layouts, models, or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures
• Work is typically comprised of generating detailed drawings for more senior designers or engineers
• Work under general supervision with some exercise of judgment
• Performs basic CAD drafting utilizing client and industry standards for detail drawings
• Performs basic design work
• Work with engineering support personnel from other offices
• Performs some clerical duties
