About this role
- Responsible for the Management of day to day construction activities in the fabrication yard.
- Negotiate revisions, changes to contractual agreements with, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensure that the project comply with the project specifications and applicable procedures.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the fabrication yard and its facilities.
- Responsible for the implementation of the HSE and Quality Management systems.
- Direction and supervision of all Fabrication Yard Personnel.
- Control and monitor of projects operations at yard site.
- Review of project planning and work progress.
- Identification and monitoring of subcontractors performances.
- Control and manage all site operations in multiple areas.
- Preparation of Method statements and fabrication sequence.
- Identifying/ optimizing the deployment schedule of manpower, equipment and other project resources based on the scope of work and schedule requirements.
- Review the project schedule with the planning department before final submission,
- Constructability review of AFC drawings before final issuance for construction.
- Preparing the technical Queries before and during the fabrication stages.
- Monitoring the monthly project cost reports in line with the project execution budget.
- Full awareness of production norms and productivity rates for different disciplines (piping, structure, erection, pre-commissioning, etc.).
- Variation orders register and client approval during the phase of fabrication.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience.
- The successful candidate should be flexible for travelling as the role demands 50% travelling with in UAE and other countries.
