Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordination, validation and improvement of projects across various functional areas related to the state partner
  • Monitors and maintains quality of  all communication provided to state partner
  • Attends state partner rule making sessions
  • Monitors and maintains all contractual compliance pertaining to state submissions / communications
  • Monitors progress and timely completion of all incoming state issues / complaints
  • Prioritize and organize tasks to meet compliance deadlines
  • Creates clear and concise written and oral communication, including presentations to management, that details project status, risks, issues, scope, and timeline
  • Will work directly with plan Director, Project Management & Analytics, Chief Medical Officer, Senior Quality Director, Health Services Directors, Chief Financial Officer, and Compliance
  • Ensures projects are completed on time, in scope, and with the highest level of quality
  • Basic tasks are completed without review by others

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Experience working with Medicaid/government products and contracts
  • Experience working with Healthcare, Medical and / or Pharmacy Terminology
  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; the ability to communicate your ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects
  • Ability to lead and influence large matrix teams both on and off-shore
  • Successful in obtaining results in a large corporate (Fortune 200), heavily matrixed environment
  • Experience working on a virtual team
