Job Summary
The EMEA Communications team forms part of a dynamic and growing global team of communicators who play an integral role in the company’s storytelling – with a strong focus on growth, innovation and purpose. This role sits within Hilton’s EMEA Corporate Affairs department, based in the MEA and Turkey regional office in Dubai.  Tasks will be focused on, but not exclusive to, the MEA and Turkey region and in particular the UAE and Turkey and will support the team across both corporate and consumer communications. This role interfaces with regional senior team including key business partner relationships up to Area President level and working within Hilton’s busy 24/7 press office.

What will I be doing?
• Responsible for executing Corporate PR activities to support our Development, HR and CR teams in EMEA with a focus on MEA and Turkey
• Work alongside external agency partners and internal leads to drive consistent results in retained markets for corporate and consumer communications
• Draft and deliver written content including Press Releases, Q&As, fact sheets, briefing materials, and internal posts
• Handle media requests for content and information working together with relevant stakeholders
• Support with coordination of internal events at MEA regional office
• Provide counsel on hotel-level PR and guidance on hotel-level activation of regional consumer campaigns as part of a regular drumbeat of communications.
• Major event support across all brands within the Hilton portfolio to include hotel openings, brand activations, press trips, media meets etc.
• Responsibility for Hilton media monitoring and compiling daily clips reports alongside wider team – monitor, process and react to data in real-time and support the creation of wider reports, as well as track KPIs of monitoring agencies
• Shares media insights and breaking news stories with the EMEA Corporate Affairs team and wider business
• Administrative support across both teams to include updating calendars, critical paths, contact lists, coordinating filming and photography to supplement PR materials, creation and formatting of documents/presentations etc.
• Work seamlessly across the EMEA and global Corporate Affairs team to ensure alignment
What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in dealing with the media on a proactive and reactive basis – PR experience in-house or at a global agency preferred
• A good understanding of travel and business media landscape in the UAE would be advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instill confidence in order to motivate and influence others.
• Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritise responsibilities.
• A team player capable of working with stakeholders at varying levels within the business and across multiple geographical locations and cultures
• Strong project management skills, taking tasks through to completion and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Business-proficient fluency in Arabic and/or Turkish will be very highly regarded

Required Qualifications:
 
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
•       Experience within this job field
Preferred Qualifications:

•   It would be beneficial to speak an additional language such as Arabic or French
•   Experience working throughout multiple countries or regions
