Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in managing outsourced operational activity.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience running large outsourced operational processes, optimizing as you go.
  • Experience in data extraction using SQL or other scripting languages.
  • Experience leading complex operational initiatives to successful outcomes within a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to autonomously drive and prioritize multiple initiatives.

The Finance Operations team manages Google’s cash transactions on a global basis and ensures that Google’s incoming and outgoing cash processes are controlled, effective and efficient. As a member of this team, you’ll find innovative ways to manage our complex set of transactions. You thrive on making processes more efficient and scalable, you work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations and you proactively minimize operational risk. Externally, you collaborate with our outsourcing partners and internally, you collaborate across the five areas of the Financial Operations team: Global Revenue Operations, Procure to Pay, Electronic Payment Services, Business Process Outsourcing, and Payroll.

The Revenue to Cash Operations (RCO) team manages Google’s Revenue-to-Cash (O2C) processes globally across all product areas. The Cash and Account Receivable Management (CARMA) team is responsible for collecting all of Google’s cash, ensuring it is all applied correctly to customer and Google accounts while managing the customer credit risk across the business. Within CARMA, the direct collections team manages the collection of cash from Google’s largest and most complex customers across a portfolio including all Ads, Digital Goods, Cloud, and all product areas. As a Project Process Manager, you will contribute experience in process improvement/optimization. You will be an effective business partner and demonstrate excellent business judgment. In this role, you will ensure the highest level of quality of our operations and you will proactively minimize operational risk. Additionally, you will work in collaboration with teams in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) and third-party collection agencies around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with external suppliers (e.g., third-party collections agencies).
  • Identify and implement system and tools requirements.
  • Ensure operational excellence within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team.
  • Ensure BPO key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs are met.
  • Communicate and present to senior management.
