Role Summary:The Engineer provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.Essential Responsibilities:Develop test strategies to maximize Validation Team potential and efficiency.Drive execution of manual and automated testing to provide evidence of completed TestPlan.Drive execution of manual and automated testing to provide evidence of requirementscoverage and traceability.Define, manage, and commit to all testing cost estimates and schedule in the proposalprocess.Investigate and thoroughly communicate software defects.Hold design reviews for test planning and reporting.Maintain broad awareness of automation efforts within group to assure technical qualityexcellence, accurate execution, and appropriate use of resources.Work with global teams to define global standards and achieve local goals.Qualifications/Requirements:· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in an engineering, IT, scientific or other technical position)Desired Characteristics:Strong oral and written communication skills.
