The main responsibilities of this position include the application of Dana axle and driveshaft products and technologies to OE customer passenger and light truck/SUV platforms.

Primary Duties:

  • Identifying customers’ needs, clarifying information, providing solutions and/or alternatives relative to warranty or Dana product.
  • Adjudicate Warranty claims based on customer contractual terms, picture evidence, warranty guidelines, etc.
  • Process/start customer warranty claims real time via phone or email.
  • Authorize and track part returns for analysis
  • Assist in accurately determining failure root cause by utilizing diagnostic procedures, repair strategies, part requirements, labor hours and technical or other assistance related to the repair.
  • Administer Dana Truck Component product warranties per published guidelines.
  • Reporting early warning signs of increasing failure modes to warranty management.

Minimum Qualifications Desired:

  • Professional or soft Phone skills
  • Assist with part tear downs
  • Coordinate vendor recovery
  • Communicate any changes to all customers (shipping doc, website enhancements, and personal changes to accounts.)
  • Communicate with various field reps.
  • Perform customer parts reviews (travel)
  • Ability to multi task
  • Process major and minor OEM claims
  • Strong mechanical background (heavy axle preferred)
  • Negotiating skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, potentially including weekends.
  • Represent Dana in a courteous, ethical and professional manner always

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automotive Technology degree preferred.

  • Professional or soft Phone skills
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience on or off campus
  • Basic truck industry knowledge preferred
  • Capable of interacting professionally with customers, even in challenging situations.
  • Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to MS office applications.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills required
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
