Retail Demand Planner – Munich

We are supporting global marketing activities across all product domains and variety of sub-functions including product life cycle management, pricing, merchandising, planning and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze inventory and sales data and leverage that information to make informed decisions and commitments
  • Ensures that the interest of the business is represented during account communications
  • Monitor, track and report on account performance from pre-Purchase Order commitment to delivery
  • Gathers and disseminates information to internal and external customers needed to make decisions and drive the business
  • Works with senior leaders and functional experts to understand account business problems and processes
  • Plays a leadership role in the standardization of account deliverables and ensuring adherence to commitments and develop and implement strategic account plans with agreed upon service level agreements
  • Act as the single point of contact for supply/inventory issues and solutions to accounts and identify account process improvement opportunities and present them to senior management with recommendations and alternatives

Key Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field (Business, Marketing, Finance) and 6 years’ relevant experience (Channel, Marketing) or Graduate degree and 6 year’s relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Collaborating, Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment process with special focus on forecasting
  • Experience with developing and implementing channel strategies and account support plans
  • Experience with analyzing data and making planning decisions and thorough understanding of the channel marketplace
  • Experience with managing complex account issues and resolutions and experience with facilitating and leading account meetings
  • Experience with facilitating and leading account meetings
  • English / German language skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous demand planning experience
  • Previous distribution/retail experience
