Job Description

Avery Dennison is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to join the Hanita Coatings US organization. In this role, the you will engage key converters and end users for the purpose of identifying, evaluating and executing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for playing a lead role in the development of strategic and tactical business plans to accelerate the growth of Avery Dennison’s Hanita Coatings US business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Find opportunities and build the pipeline for Hanita Coatings US materials.
  • Identify strategic partnerships, build relationships and quickly work towards unmet customer needs, working to identify products and processes needed to meet those needs.
  • Provide competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities and execute plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Act as voice of customer for all external sales championing the resource needs of the external market.
  • Support market/product development initiatives including customer trials, promotional activities, trade shows.
  • Partner with Sales to transition business development account activities during commercialization.
  • Understand and communicate the decision-making process from Private, Public and Leasing Companies about the materials selection process.
  • Map current business to understand price positioning strategy at each different segment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years business development, sales, product management, marketing or other directly related experience.
  • Deep business development understanding (past BDM role – advantage)
  • Previous jobs with international companies preferred.
  • Experience in industrial company in Coating/lamination/insulation/furniture film a plus
