Role Summary:
GE Gas Power is seeking a Sales Manager to focus on building and growing the Gas Power business operations in Yemen. This role is responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders in Yemen (Ministry of Electricity, Power Utilities…etc.) in order to help restore electricity to affected areas in Yemen and grow the Gas Power business there.
Essential Responsibilities:
For this role, the candidate will be required to:
– Act as a focal point for all requests related to services, parts, repairs, solutions, or complex projects within the geographic area / assigned customers
– Develop deal\\transaction strategy & vision with a long term perspective on how to grow our business and strengthen our relationships with the government, and utility customers.
– Lead business development planning processes.
– Establish a thorough understanding of complex products and systems and knowledge of the environment where the products or systems will be used
– Drive new product introductions and new product revenue.
– Stay up to date with latest market intelligence involving customers, competitors and market dynamics.
– Coordinates and leads sales teams involving engineering, legal, risk, commercial and finance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Origination
– Working knowledge of the power generation and/or Gas Turbine markets
