Lexmark International is currently seeking qualified applicants for an SAP & IT Project Manager.  This position will act as the project manager for all Boulder IT projects and lead IT activities (both tactical and strategic) in coordination with Lexmark corporate IT.  This position will lead efforts to identify system improvements and best practice implementation for the Boulder site.  These efforts include desktop user needs (both software and hardware) as well as manufacturing needs (SAP and related software applications).

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Able to develop strong understanding of manufacturing material and transaction flows to enable effective analyses of processes.
  • Engage with Lexmark Business leaders to understand required business processes.
  • Leverage knowledge of supply chain best practices and SAP system configuration to support local logistics team to implement robust processes.
  • Lead team to design and implement SAP processes to enable effective and efficient transactional business processes.
  • Assist with troubleshooting process problems (SAP and procedural) both locally and with system experts to ensure ongoing effectiveness of business operations with focus on ECC to support purchasing, planning and production functions.
  • Act as project manager for all Boulder IT initiatives including (but not limited to) software implementation, system upgrades, hardware upgrades, IT security improvements.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing software engineering team on projects which impact manufacturing transactional workflows.
  • Manage IT security processes for ensuring all personnel have the appropriate access to software platforms to effectively support manufacturing operations while minimizing separation of duty risks.
  • Act as Boulder site SAP lead to complete restricted transactions.
  • Monitor IT system performance for Boulder site and proactively work to mitigate any identified issues.
  • Oversee and prioritize efforts of contracted on-site desktop support personnel to ensure alignment with corporate IT initiatives and site needs.
  • Coordinate activities with IT vendors to ensure optimal experience for Boulder site personnel and that all service requirements are met.
  • Establish a consistent approach and defined set of behaviors that foster an environment of mutual respect, dignity, and trust.
  • Work with the Lexmark Business Operations and Technical Teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drives these projects to completion.
  • Some international travel may be required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Field (Science or Engineering).
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of:
  • SAP ERP
  • SAP Ariba
  • SAP CLM / MDM
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strategic thinker, capable of motivating others, and managing complex tasks.
  • Strong acumen for driving project deadlines, accountability, and delivering results.
  • Ability to develop work plans, using a data driven, analytical approach, to drive projects to completion.  Operational Excellence/Lean Manufacturing experience desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to obtain US Customs and Border Protection clearance to act as Key Employee within Foreign Trade Zone.
