Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Reports To: VP Finance

Essential Job Functions:

  • The Senior Financial Operations Analyst will provide proactive business partner support to the the Modular Division of Cupertino Electric.  This position will partner directly with the Modular Division senior management to support the achievement of the Division’s performance objectives.
  • Assist Modular Division senior management with the development of budgets, both at the division level and at the individual project level, monthly forecasting of project performance, forecasting and monitoring of capital spend requirements, cost performance analytics and helping to drive initiatives towards cost reductions.
  • Working closely with senior management, provide in-depth analysis of Division and individual project performance.
  • Review of Division monthly financial statements and ensuring consistency in the application of accounting policies and practices as set by senior Finance and Accounting Management.
  • Assist in developing and tracking key metrics and trends in support of business decisions.
  • Assist in driving continuous improvement in processes, systems, business intelligence and budgeting tools to meet the Company’s financial reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses as requested by Senior Management.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or other business related field.
  • Minimum 5 years financial analyst experience required.  Experience with the construction and/or manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience required.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Access queries and reports.
  • Highly motivated, energetic team player with the capability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks with limited or minimal supervision.
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical, written, and oral communications skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior management as well as a multi-disciplined cross section of a geographically distributed corporate organization.
