Position Description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate results
  • Assist with periodic forecast and budget creation
  • Participate on special projects and ad hoc financial requests
  • Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies
  • Identify and communicate trends to drive business decisions
  • Provide front-end analytical and business support/guidance as we move toward innovative solutions within the Operation
  • Drive analytics around forecast trends to drive accuracy
This position will support Optum Behavioral Health Operations.  Successful candidates will need a strong curiosity of understand how things work.  You will be able to identify patterns and trends in financial data, and articulate the relevance of those trends to peers, and business partners.  
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 or more years of financial and/or accounting experience
  • Intermediate level in MS Excel including (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or CPA
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Planning and PeopleSoft Financials
  • Experience with Tableau
