Reporting directly to the VP of Global Labor Relations, Health and Safety and HR, this position provides direct support for several of the CV Business Unit functions, expected to include the Global Aftermarket team, Off Highway Sales and others as required. Responsible for all aspects of HR activities in these groups including performance management, compensation, employee relations, and training and development.  Works directly with senior members of CV Strategy teams heading these areas.

Also responsible for assisting with HR global or US-based initiatives that require support within CV, such as engagement survey, reporting metrics, special projects, corporate teams….

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables: 

  • Sales / Program Management, Platform Management / Purchasing:
  • Lead all aspects of recruiting including job requisition, interview set up, interviewing, making offers and onboarding of key associates
  • Work closely with leads in functional areas to drive appropriate organizational design based on business needs and cycles
  • Lead performance and merit planning, ensuring all timelines are effectively met and the process is appropriately administered.  Ensure all goal setting and reviews are completed on a timely basis.
  • Complete Annual Incentive Plan validation for all functions
  • Support annual talent review (succession management process) and follow-up to ensure development actions are effectively completed
  • Work with each functional area to successfully complete Annual Operating Plan within Corporate guidelines
  • Update and maintain organizational charts
  • Proactively manage employee issues, including leaves, attendance, ethics points and all other employee-related issues requiring HR involvement.  Ensure that performance issues are appropriately documented and monitored
  • Provide support for key corporate initiatives including engagement survey administration and feedback, corporate HR process teams, and CV special projects
  • Working with CV HR generalist, complete AAP and EEOC reporting for all groups
  • Coordinate HR support with HR Sr. Manager, Engineering and HR Manager, IT for issues within the CV BU
  • Work on special projects as assigned

 Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources positions, with emphasis on HR generalist processes.
  • Knowledgeable in US employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training.
  • Strong emphasis on HR systems reporting; emphasis on SAP, Success Factors
  • Ability to collaborate and with other functions within Human Resources, on development of programs and policies such as benefits, compensation, executive compensation and communications
  • Ability to work with Senior Leaders on critical people related issues, exerting influence and knowledge to assist with appropriate decision making
  • Strong financial acumen, able to understand and communicate company financial metrics and act as a business partner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all functions and levels across the organization

Additional Certifications (preferred): 

  • SHRM member
  • PHR or SPHR
  • HR related training or certifications
