Position Specific Description

This person will be responsible for acknowledging, evaluating, and resolving service tickets within SLA agreements.  The IT Systems Analyst must have exemplary problem solving skills needed to evaluate root cause issues and solve complex functional, configuration, and technical system issues.  The role will interface with the business users and thus the candidate must have excellent communication, relationship management, and time management skills.  It is preferred that the IT Systems Analyst have a working knowledge of Remedy and IBM Control Desk.

Candidates applying for this position must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following areas:

  • Strong understanding of business processes and practices related to various corporate staff business units
  • Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
  • Extensive experience balancing competing demands of support and project work
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
  • Expert in process mapping and gap analysis
  • Strong ability to gather, evaluate, decompose, and prioritize business needs  (creation of BRDs)
  • Strong attention to detail, highly self-motivated, proactive, and directed
  • Strong customer focus – able to build and foster customer relations through effective communication
  • Data analytics and dashboarding skills
  • Strong test lead skills – including test management, test planning, test execution and oversight
  • Cutover planning and change management
  • Experience managing general computer control (GCC)
  • Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (SOX) controls
  • Experience working within Agile
  • Expert level users of Windows OS and Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience working with and supporting Windows Server, AD and Exchange, SQL
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture including, databases, ETLs, OS, applications, netoworking, firewall, others
