Senior planner- Flight Crew Training

Responsible for providing support in all areas of Crew Resources and Scheduling including administration of vacation bidding, pilot leaves, retirements, MLOA and new hires. Maintains DBMS data and personnel files. Identifies required types of training for all pilots returning from leave status or awarded through an Advance Entitlement. Ability to identify and create new or improved processes to support the changes in the operation. Assists with Vacancy surplus awards. Provides analysis/research for Crew Resources, OE training planning and scheduling strategic initiatives. Organizes, attends and facilitates meetings with project stakeholders; coordinates project initiatives and assists the business in determining functional requirements. Maintains a working knowledge of Flt ops business processes and automation tools while serving as a subject matter expert. This role will assist in identifying manual processes, providing innovative and new ways of completing tasks to provide efficiencies in all areas of crew resources. Reviews AE/OE and training data to support key decision making in all areas within the division. The individual will need to quickly learn potentially unfamiliar topics including the Pilot Working Agreement (PWA), DBMS, SAP and OSS. Manage individual and group priorities to ensure project deadlines are met, and establish and maintain relationships with peers within FlightOps and other divisions. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Must have at least two years of related work experience. Superior analytical and organizational skills strongly preferred. Project management experience and exposure to analytical/reporting software preferred. Must have the ability to anticipate and plan for competing priorities while meeting strict deadlines. Must have experience structuring and delivering presentations and communications targeted to varied audiences. Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision. Must have working knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be performing satisfactorily in current role. Working knowledge of the PWA preferred.
