Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Avery Dennison is seeking a Service Consultant to join the Label and Graphic Materials Group Customer Support organization. The successful candidate will manage accounts by order processing, order follow up, pricing integrity, on-time deliveries, and complete order fulfillment.

Hours: 10:00am – 7:00pm, Monday – Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of customers, orders and logistics.
  • Implement account servicing strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Principal liaison with marketing and sales for products and customers, and for multiple product lines & sites.
  • Coordinate with division planners and production schedulers on delivery times for orders received.
  • Implementation of marketing programs for assigned accounts.
  • Support all aspects of customer service including color match requests, pricing coordination, order entry, and coordination of shipments.
  • Initiate and implement initiatives which improve customer service and response times.
  • Champion customer needs and follow up on customer inquiries.
  • Provide responsive order management support including order entry, or expediting and shipment information to customers.
  • Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives.
  • Attend technical training seminars.
  • Back-up team-members when workload makes this necessary.
  • Partner with Sales to assist in achieving sales goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Candidates with an undergraduate degree or actively pursuing a degree in business administration / related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 – 5 years customer service experience; manufacturing environment is a plus or commensurate experience in an administrative support role with direct customer contact.
  • Exceptional customer focus required and ability to build customer relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a time-constrained environment needed.
  • Strong computer skills required. Must be proficient in Google Suite
  • Candidate must have superior team and interpersonal skills.
