The Boeing Company is seeking a Service Technical Analyst to join our E-4B Technical Analyst Team, which provides modification and sustainment support services to the Air Force and Boeing for its fleet of (4) Boeing E-4B (747-200B) aircraft.  This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

As a Service Technical Analyst for this organization, you will be part of a team providing sustainment and modification support to the Air Force to help maintain and sustain its fleet of Boeing E-4B aircraft.  The successful candidate will evaluate aircraft engine and airframe systems and component performance to identify issues and potential improvements; resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues; and work closely with the Air Force and Government customers to ensure the continued safe operation of the fleet.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze systems and components to identify issues and corrective action
  • Provide solutions intended to improve system performance and increase operational availability
  • Lead projects, research efforts, and special assignments as required
  • Lead other employees to resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues associated with in-service aircraft, depot maintenance, and repair
  • Participate in a multi-disciplined team to ensure customer contractual requirements are met
  • Directly support the Air Force operators and troubleshoot complex Engine and Airframe equipment
  • Draft and review Technical Publication source data
  • Experience with interpreting Engineering drawings and standards

Qualifications

Typical Education/Experience:

AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
  • Associate’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing engineering data for the purpose of developing technical publications
  • Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data including engineering data, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, or maintenance data to provide sustainment support to delivered products
  • Experience performing aircraft structural and mechanical work
