- Very strong Java programmer with concurrency & distributed application development experience
- API development experience
- Strong knowledge of webcentric technologies including HTML, JSON, JavaScript, Web sockets
- Experience tuning java garbage collection & performance is a must
- Garbage collection friendly programming experience in Java is a huge plus
- Web services (REST/SOAP) development experience is a plus
- Development experience with one or more of Netty, akka, Cassandra is a big plus
- .NET development experience is a plus [if not, willingness to learn & be a hybrid developer]
- Knowledge of Google protobuf is a good to have
- In general willing to learn & master new technologies. We cross train team members, so everyone can work on different parts of the platform.
