A vacancy for a Software Development Engineer for EU MALE (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “TEAXS-TL3 EF Embedded RTS Development”.

For the development of the new Eurodrone (EU MALE) a Software Development Engineer (f/m/d) with advanced knowledge in Real-Time Programming is requested.

Your Main Tasks would be:

– Analysis of software-requirements
– Development and maintenance of Software design and documentation
– Development of source code of embedded real time software
– Development and execution of unit- and integration tests
– Development, maintenance and documentation of support software and simulation environment
– Open communication within a SCRUM Environment
– Technical interface between several organizations

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

– An university degree in electrical / aeronautical engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent
– Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
– The reliability and devotion for working in a team environment
– You have good communication skills and you are able to work in an international team
– You are self-driven and your working style is independent
– Your passion is Programming and you are an initiator for innovations
– You have a good knowledge about current and future software technologies
– You have a customer-oriented Mind-set
– Your English is fluent, verbally and written
– Other languages like German or French would be a plus
– Programming skills in C++ and/or Ada
