Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications. Gathers and evaluates end user requirements. Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements. Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems. Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements. You will be part of a cross-functional team which develops highly interactive and adaptive training/academy management solutions for the aviation field. The position requires proficient to advanced skills in AngularJS hybrid applications development and with knowledge of Java or Objective C as a bonus. • Design, implement and test hybrid single-page applications that improve user experience • Develop client-side, JavaScript/HTML5 applications in AngularJS • Cooperate in creating and consuming RESTful APIs using JavaScript – specifically AngularJS • Work as part of a cross-functional, agile development team embracing scrum approach • Contribute to ensuring high-quality code through following best practices and design patterns • Design and write automated unit, integration and acceptance tests • Actively drive non-functional requirements such as performance, security, continuous integration, migration and compatibility • Check out new technologies and introduce them to others in order to promote innovation and create business value This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Required skills: • Bachelor, Master or equivalent degree preferably in Computer Science or Engineering • Experience developing real-time software from requirements definition through customer delivery and post-delivery support • 2+ years of experience with AngularJS and excellent understanding of the framework • 3+ years of experience with UI Development Javascript/ HTML5/ CSS3 • Experienced with CSS and CSS pre-processors (SASS preferred) • Good knowledge of TypeScript • Experience with Javascript automatization tools (grunt, gulp, webpack) and CI/CD • High motivation and eagerness to learn new technologies • Experience with automated testing (unit and e2e) • Fluency in English Desired/Optional Skills: • Angular 4+ knowledge • Having ported an AngularJS application to Angular • Java or Objective C knowledge is a plus • Experience with continuous integration and deployment frameworks • Interest or basic experience in the following areas: machine learning, recommendation systems, large-scale data mining is valued
