As a AWS Business Leader for South Africa you will have the exciting opportunity to lead a team of highly skilled account managers and help to drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. This is a senior management position. Your responsibilities will include helping drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the South African market. You will be expected to build high performance teams.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also have experience managing account teams and be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage a team of account managers
Help drive revenue.
Exceed quarterly revenue targets.
Develop and execute against a comprehensive territory plan.
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
Accelerate customer adoption.
Maintain and report robust pipeline
Work with partners to drive adoption.
Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
Manage contract negotiations.
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Build, Develop and motivate a high performing team
