Role Summary:

Are you looking to be part of an innovative team? Drive end-to-end IT product management and program delivery for IT customers, sites, and partners!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver infrastructure/platform products for GE Aviation CIO organizations
  • Work with Aviation CIO teams & partners to develop and execute product vision and roadmap.
  • Ensure CoreTech/Vendor roadmaps align with GE Aviation customer need
  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer needs and associated outcomes
  • Stay current with market trends, enabling technologies, and business digital strategy
  • Apply Agile principles to translate requirements into actionable user stories and work units through planning
  • Drive transformation, resiliency, and optimization programs
  • Provide requirements to implementation teams and validate deliverables
  • Communicate MVP status to partners on a regular basis
  • Own the risks and dependencies associated with MVP implementation
  • Triage/debug production issues, identify root cause and corrective actions

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Software Development, IT Product and/or Program Management

Desired Characteristics:

  • Expert in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity. Experience remediating data quality in relational databases.
  • Experience working on Agile teams and terminology
  • Experience leading global projects and programs
  • Experience in driving out costs to meet budget challenges
  • Strong communication and influencing skills is helpful
  • Able to multi-task, balance time and priorities and be proactive while maintaining high degree of organization
  • Able to influence others, deliver value proposition, and lead small teams
  • Able to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non- technical staff
  • Pushes self for individual results and others through team spirit
  • Strong analytical skills, creative and business-focused problem-solving abilities. Reacts open-mindedly to fresh opinions or ideas
  • Considers different or unusual solutions when appropriate
