Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Customer/account/partner management experience in an online digital business.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in online publishing and ad technology industry.
  • Experience in yield management, client presentations, strategic execution and working in ambiguity.
  • Understanding of online advertising (ad serving, networks, SSPs, DSPs, data and audiences, Display, Video, Search), key advertising platforms and trends (desktop, mobile, video, search, etc.) and related performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent analytical and data visualization skills (e.g. spreadsheet software, SQL).
  • Knowledge of, and established relationships within, e-commerce and retail landscape. Demonstrated partner relations, account management, business development and effective communication skills
  • Ability to speak and write in Norwegian fluently and idiomatically.

As Strategic Partner Manager, you’ll drive partner’s advertising growth through the adoption of solutions by providing consultancy, insights and yield management opportunities. You’ll have an analytical mindset and solve complex business issues, and develop close working relationships with partners. Strategic Partner Managers serve as our expert consultants to our customers, using research and analytics to build long-lasting relationships with our partners. Your expertise of Google’s products and our partners’ businesses allow you to identify new opportunities for their growth, launch new products and expand the impact of our clients’ work. You’ll build long-lasting relationships with partners, and grow existing partnerships to ensure they take full advantage of Google’s ever-growing suite of offerings. You possess excellent relationship-building skills and will find mutually beneficial opportunities with partners in order to best represent our users, products and programs.

Global Solutions is the link between Google products and business. Your focus is to help turn innovation into complete, packaged tools that allow our customers to get the most that they need from our suite of products. As part of the Global Solutions team, you’ll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products. Working in one of three specialized areas – Performance, Brand, or Publisher & Platform – you’ll use your expertise to help front-line Sales partners to work their magic quickly and effectively. Above all, you are passionate about all things digital, and want to help shape the world of online advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans and yield management programs for partners (growth opportunities identification, action planning, business growth forecasting).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, develop and communicate final recommendations.
  • Be the primary point-of-contact for partners around account management, business growth optimization, training, product enhancement, and lead cross-functional efforts to identify and solve issues. Ensure performance monitoring/measurement/reporting and follow ups to partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with Product Specialists and Technical Specialists to test and implement relevant products/features to maximize yield.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Large Partner Solutions suite and its advantages by actively monitoring the market landscape and providing feedback to product development teams.
