Role Summary:
Project Management/Planning/Coordinating activities typically in the context of a production or services project to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the whole scope of site activities from site mobilization to final acceptance, acting under the direction and on behalf of the Project Director/Manager.
- Lead the site team and manage the execution of the Project scope of work.
- For GE, also includes to establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program/project success.
- Install process excellence support for program/project governance, project reviews, etc.
- Ensure that schedule, quality and cost are in compliance with contractual obligations, company policy and local regulations.
- Includes management of OOEM sites and retrofit & upgrade projects.
- Develops an operational year plan for the own department activities.
- Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures.
- Contributes to plan of larger unit.
- Works together with high level people from the business and SPB and EB level.
- Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
- Diverse clients in a region.
- Works on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks.
- Some latitude to deviate from those conditions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Retrofit/Upgrade and Site Management.
