Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in consulting and/or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with market research and talent mapping.
  • Expertise in advanced talent search techniques including Boolean, ATS sourcing tools and online niche resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously.
  • A sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to innovate and work with ambiguity.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and facilitation skills.

The Channels Sourcing team in London is made up of creative problem solvers, who provide candidate pipeline and pipeline strategy across the business. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you;ll become a subject-matter expert on an assigned job family domain, while working directly with the business and GPS partners as a trusted advisor to build and improve hiring processes to deliver top technical talent.

Responsibilities

  • Become a search expert for a functional area (e.g., Cloud, Leadership, Tech) by understanding hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements.
  • Generate talent for Google’s business needs by leveraging existing talent pools and creating new ones through market intelligence and various sourcing methods.
  • Develop and leverage deep subject matter expertise in relevant focus locations to ensure pipeline is representative of our markets.
  • Partner with Staffing teams and Hiring Managers to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective and innovative sourcing strategy.
  • Manage candidate processes at early stages, act as a candidate advocate, evaluate skill level and make recommendations based on knowledge of our client group. Provide coaching and connect candidates to the business and recruiting partners.
