Amazon Mobile is one of our fastest growing strategic new businesses focused on the mobile ecosystem. The Amazon Mobile Business Development team is responsible for creating distribution and partnership opportunities for our Amazon’s mobile applications and services (Amazon Mobile Shopping, Music, Kindle, and Amazon App Store) on multiple mobile platforms that have resulted in Amazon apps and services on hundreds of millions of mobile handsets worldwide. We leverage Amazon’s collective assets to secure distribution on smartphones and tablets, primarily on the Android OS. Our reach extends into nearly every tier one mobile operator and OEM, across the globe.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Account Manager to manage technical requirements, milestones and engagement between our mobile partners and various Amazon developer teams to build features and technical solutions that enable and grow distribution of Amazon Applications and Services.

A successful candidate will have experience working as a TPM or SDM with internal business and product teams to deliver scalable product solutions at a global level; excellent program and project management skills; proficiency in translating business requirements into technical requirements, roadmap prioritization and milestone management and a strong will to deliver results.

Responsibilities

· Own technical relationships with assigned partners and will drive and refine the partner engagement process around application preloads, integration and service launches.

· Responsible for managing day to day technical operations, data tracking and reporting, supporting marketing campaigns and all operational components of our mobile partnerships
· Identify and implement process improvements in a data driven manner
· Analyze complex information, identify problems, implement solutions, adjust priorities, make effective procedural decisions, and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 4+ years of experience as a Technical Account Manager or Program/Project Manager roles in large online or mobile organizations
· Experience in managing external customers and vendors, preferably in the Mobile ecosystem (carriers and OEMs)
· 2+ years of experience in PM or Developer role supporting launch of new applications or rolling out new features for existing products, preferably in the Mobile ecosystem (carriers and OEMs)
· Proven track record of getting things done, rapidly shifting gears between roles including project manager and technical account manager. Establish credibility with technical and non-technical business owners to get things doneExperience with Oracle, SQL, Data Warehouse or other reporting tools. Understanding of basic business analytics.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, product managers, and senior business leaders.
· Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills with proven experience to drive creative solutions
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Able to travel up to 20%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including detailed requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, technical design, development, test, implementation and maintenance
· Experience with building or supporting mobile applications and understand the mobile ecosystem
· Management and leadership experience
· Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline.
