R&D Development Team Manager
Fujitsu Software Development Team located in Lodz is looking for the Team Manager. We are looking for a person with high interpersonal skills profile, willing to take accountability for the delivery and performance of the distributed team of developers and quality assurance engineers specialized in JavaScript (NodeJS, React.JS, Redux), Docker, Express JS and MongoDB technologies used in programming and software testing of both Front and Back End endpoints of the solutions.
While working for us you will be involved in all 1st line management activities securing the continuity of the business, personal development of your subordinates and provision of technical expertise on the realized projects.
You will become a part of fast growing R&D family (300+ Engineers) located in Lodz with focus on establishing global R&D delivery department.
Responsibilities:
- People’s Management:
Developing, motivating and coaching a team of highly skilled technical specialists.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Building and cultivating relationship with the Customers, both internal and external.
- Project Management:
Flexible allocation of resources, planning and controlling the project milestones, collecting data and reporting project KPIs, managing project changes, risks and opportunities.
- Product Delivery:
Using strengths of the team to achieve effective and efficient delivery of software in the agreed scope, time and quality.
- Continuous Improvement:
Contributing to the continuous improvement of software deliveries in terms of quality, effectiveness and performance.
Skills Required:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
Communication, team collaboration, composure, stability, responsibility and integrity.
- Very good people’s management techniques
Motivating, feedback giving, directing and coaching.
- Very good customer relationship management techniques
Building trust and confidence, negotiating and conflict resolution.
Desirable:
- Experience in People’s Management
Line Manager, Technical Leader, Technical Coordinator, Product Owner or similar.
- Knowledge and experience in Project Management frameworks
such as: Agile, PMI, ITIL or similar, certificates will be the additional assets.
Knowledge and experience in Application Development Lifecycle
- Experience in Deploying Applications both in a local and Cloud Environment
- Understanding of basic IT Security technologies and concepts (i.e. Network Security, SSL, PKI etc.)
- Understanding of the CI / CD technologies and concepts for continuous delivery
- Experience in Design and Development of User Interfaces
